Procedure
1. Preparation of the substrate
Apply to good quality floors and walls that have been dusted, degreased and coherent.
(See the substrate preparation table in our FLOOR SYSTEM file)
To save time, prime with WATHAN EXPRESS PRIMER.
2. Preparation of WATHAN EXPRESS FINISH
Mix the two components well using a spatula for small packages, and an electric shaker on low speed for 154KG. So that the product is well mixed ( on the edges and at the bottom), pour the preparation into a clean and empty drum.
The quantity prepared has to be used within 30 minutes after mixing and spread immediately in small packets.
3. Application
With a roller in 2 coats or a scraper.
4. Recommendations for use
- Check the durability of the substrate and conduct the preparation operations in accordance with the table in the FLOOR SYSTEM file.
- Insert all the hardener into the base.
- Comply with the technical data below concerning ventilation, temperature, humidity.
- Do not dilute (water or solvent).
- The amount of colouring agent used must not exceed 9% of the total product. Beyond that, the product loses its mechanical qualities (check with us).
- On a porous substrate, the substrate must absolutely be blocked in order to prevent the bubbling phenomenon.
- In order to mix the product well, once the mixture is done, pour all of it into another container so that the poorly mixed parts (bottom and edges of the bucket) are not applied to the floor.
- Do not divide the drums.
- Do not apply in rain, fog or humidity. Much longer drying time.
Precautions for use
- Safety/hygiene: non-flammable; keep out of the reach of children, avoid prolonged contact with the skin, wash hand frequently, do not ingest.
- Apply the product in constantly well-ventilated premises with no humidity
- Comply with the instructions on the labels and safety sheets
- Must be tinted only with solvent colouring agents. The amount of colouring agent as a neutral base must not exceed 9% of the total product.
Application of this type of product falls under DTU 59.3. It is the responsibility of the applicator to ensure compliance with these rules, because they are engaging their liability.
