The DECOPOX coating can be applied to many types of clean and sound floors (dust-free and degreased, free of moisture).
For all prepared substrates:
- Pass DECOPOX Primer: 4 to 8 m2 per litre according to porosity. If needed, add a reinforcing silica filler to it (use a roller).
- To cover existing tiling: first pass RAGREAGE RX30 alone or DECOPOX Primer with silica SF according to the shape of the tiles and the width of the joints.
2 – Preparation of DECOPOX
DECOPOX will be applied within 12 to 24 hours after the primer has been applied.
Use a shaker with a good power level (about 1000 W)
3 – Application
On a substrate prepared according to its condition, its properties after possible treatment by sanding laitances, defects, planimetry, grouting tile joints, etc.
Respect the consumption (between min. 0.800 kg and max. 2 kg/m²).

4 – Imperative recommendations
- Respect the consumption. Excessive overconsumption can result in cracks or bubbling; underconsumption leaves traces from the comb or trowel (due not enough self-spreading effect)
- Comply with the pot life time.
- DECOPOX is a decoration product for professionals; for optimal and successful use, the user should be trained on the product with a Cimentol-approved applicator. (Ask us). Otherwise, Cimentol cannot be held liable or receive any complaints.
- The application method can vary the tint according to the application tool or the force exerted on the tool.
- It is essential to work in the same manufacturing bath with the last coat.
- Check the durability of the substrate and conduct the preparation operations in accordance with the table in the FLOOR SYSTEM file.
- Insert all the hardener into the base.
- Comply with the technical data below concerning ventilation, temperature, humidity.
- In wet and cold weather, we suggest blowing hot air into the premises for a few hours.
Precautions for use
- Safety/hygiene: solvent-free, non-flammable; keep out of the reach of children, avoid prolonged contact with the skin, wash hand frequently, do not ingest.
