MATMAX SILOXANE is a SILOXANE-reinforced acrylic finishing paint for indoor and outdoor use in the aqueous phase for all meticulous new or maintenance work. In addition, MATMAX SILOXANE provides quick coverage (saves work time) of walls and ceilings in a single pass, but also a high-quality finish. Its siloxane resin allows it to obtain high mattness, resistance to steam, work without reworking and no buffing.
This paint is applied to many substrates such as: old paint, plaster, brick, cement, cinder block, wood, metal, etc.
On ferrous metals, it is mandatory to apply a rust-proofing primer of the NEXOLUTION U OR KARAX PRIMER type beforehand.

Procedure
MATMAX SILOXANE is a ready-to-use paint.
1. Preparation of the background
The substrate must be clean, sound, dry and solid, not exposed to rising damp.
Roughen the paints via alkaline leaching, rinse and allow to dry.
2. Use of MATMAX SILOXANE
MATMAX SILOXANE is ready to use for application with a brush, or roller.
For application with a pneumatic gun, dilute to about 5% with water.
With porous substrates, dilution to 5 to 10% with water is also recommended.

Standard NF P74-201 and 2, ref. DTU 59.1 “paintwork” defines the professional rules for preparing substrates.
It is the responsibility of the applicator to ensure compliance with these rules, because they are engaging their liability.
