Area of application
WATPRIM is a solvent-free two-component epoxy primer that ensures bonding for coatings of the epoxy or polyurethane type on non-absorbent substrates. WATPRIM blocks and insulates substrates.
WATPRIM is perfectly suited for concrete and derivatives, stone, brick, asbestos-cement, steel and ferrous metals, tiling.

Procedure
1. Preparation of the substrate
Applied to good quality sound, dry, mechanical solid and degreased substrates that are dust free and coherent.
2. Preparation of WATPRIM
Pour all the hardener into the base.
Mix the two components perfectly using a shaker
3. Application
- Check the durability of the substrate and conduct the preparation operations in accordance with the table in the FLOOR SYSTEM file
- Pour the product in small quantities on the floor and spread with a brush or roller, complying with the technical data below in terms of ventilation, temperature, humidity.
- Recommendations for use
- Once the base and the hardener have been mixed, the quantity prepared must be used within 45 minutes. Warning: the action of the catalysation (base + hardener) generates a substantial amount of heat in the mixture after about twenty minutes. It is highly advised to apply the product immediately after it has been mixed. The higher the outside temperature is or the higher the quantity of the mixture is, the more the pot life and the practical duration of the product drops.
- Insert all the hardener into the base.
- Comply with the technical data below concerning temperature, humidity, etc.
- Do not incorporate foreign bodies (water, solvent)
Precautions for use
- Safety/hygiene: solvent-free, non-flammable; keep out of the reach of children, avoid prolonged contact with the skin, wash hand frequently, do not ingest. For professional use only
- Provide good ventilation of the premises during application
- Comply with the instructions on the labels and safety sheets
Application of this type of product falls under DTU 59.3. It is the responsibility of the applicator to ensure compliance with these rules, because they are engaging their liability.
